SIARGAO · PHILIPPINES
Reef passes, a boat, and a season that runs August to November.
Scored against your own preferences, with every reason named. Where we do not know enough, we say so instead of putting a number on a guess.
Platform-verified facts about each wave, not the camp's marketing. Hazards are stated plainly.
Cloud 9 is the reason people come to Siargao and it deserves its reputation — a fast, hollow right over shallow coral that asks a lot of you. Jacking Horse, thirty metres inside it, is the opposite: a soft, mellow reef that is genuinely a good place to learn on a soft-top. We run both, and we are honest about which one you belong on. February to May is small and quiet; September to November is the season.

ARRIVING AND LEAVING
15:00 → 10:30
Check in from 15:00, out by 10:30, local time at the camp (Asia/Manila). Every deadline we quote you — cancellation included — is in that zone, not yours.
PAID AT THE PROPERTY
Nothing
No tourist levy at this property. What you pay online is what the stay costs.
WHO CAN STAY

Surfcamps.World does not book under-18s, anywhere, in this version. Every person on a booking confirms their age before the dates are held — not after you have paid.
TAX ON THE STAY

Accommodation tax, charged on the room and any package. It is already inside the total in the booking panel — no surprise at the desk.
WHAT WE HAVE CHECKED
We verify these ourselves. Anything not listed here, we have not checked.
STAYS BOOKED THROUGH US

EXPERT · 6 NIGHTS IN JUNE
Great week, genuinely. The only thing I would change is the transfer timing — leaving at 6am every day is a lot by day five and I would have liked one slow morning built into the schedule. Everything else was exactly as described on the listing.

INTERMEDIATE · 6 NIGHTS IN MAY
Booked the fixed week and it was worth the extra over the flexible option: one group, one coach, and everyone at roughly the same level so nobody was waiting around. The wave out front is not a beginner wave and the listing says so — believe it.

YOUR FIT · AUGUST
We will not put a percentage on a guess. A match score is only worth reading when it is built on what you actually want — your level, the waves you like, what you are going for.
It takes about two minutes, and it changes every camp you see from then on.

WHEN NOT TO COME
February drops to 40% rideable days; March drops to 33% rideable days; April drops to 29% rideable days. If those are the only weeks you can travel, book somewhere else — we would rather lose the booking than sell you a flat week.
